My name is Jiří Maczko, more known under my nick “Biftek“.
I was born in 1991. My grandmother raised me for passion for art since my childhood. I attended an art school and many art lessons although my father wanted me to become a carpenter. Once I´ve finished school I made carpentry for 7 years, building wooden houses. But I wanted to do something which will be my own work, depending just on me.
Through my passion for pipe tobacco, I came to pipes. After I finished my first pipe still as a hobby I knew I will make pipes for living one day. In 2017 pipe making became my fulltime passion. I taught to make pipe myself and my goal is to make pipes “a bit differently”.
